a walk to remember

When God asks us to do something. When he puts that impression upon us that wont relent until we do what we have been told to do. He doesnt ask us to do it so he can find out what will happen. He already knows. He designed the results, but it is up to you to make them happen. Being obedient isnt so he can see the results, it's so we can. So that when we obey, no matter how absolutely insane it seems (quitting your job with no new job lined up, anyone?), we can see Him glorified. See His results. See His power and that our faith in Him will increase. Our walk with Him be a little straighter. Our relationship with Him a little deeper. Having obeyed we not only see Him glorified, but have yet another blessing from Him to rely on. When the hard times come again, we can say "I remember when God asked me to do (this), and i remember how amazing the results were". We can draw upon our past walks with Him, to walk even farther.
